"My ideas usually come not at my desk writing but in the midst of living" - Anais Nin
Tis the season....to share a video that, though not brand-spanking new, instills with you hope, the will to play in the leaves - at any age, shoot DIY video footage in your backyard, go jump in the rain (preferably barefoot), do something you've never done before, and remember you're never too old to play dress up.
Hope you are enjoying the holiday weekend.
Sigur Ros- Hoppipolla
PS the lyrics are as worthy as the music:
Smiling
Spinning round and round
Holding hands
The whole world a blur
But you are standing
Soaked
Completely drenched
No rubber boots
Running inside us
Want to erupt from a shell
The Wind
An outdoor smell of your hair
I breathe as hard as I can
with my nose
Jump into puddles
With no boots on
Completely drenched(Soaked)
With no boots on
And I get a nosebleed
But I always stand up
(Hopelandish)
And I get a nosebleed
But I always stand up
(Hopelandish)

Nothin' Else
“Your voice sounds so sexy in this absolutely fresh song!”
- SumitaNever Again
“I really like you doing pure pop music like this song, but the problem with it is that it encourages the white culture and wants it to be exclusive to you and Britney, etc. etc. You stayed away from that sin in your second solo album and it is easier for someone like me to look at you as an artist and a friend now. I am just saying that I want pop culture to be inclusive and you have done a lot towards that end.”

“That's cool. I was watching your three movies, "Alpha Dog," "Southerland Tales," "Black Snake Moan" nonstop last night and tonight and I can't learn enough from your sensitivity to the lower class. I have a lot to learn from you as someone that uses his gifts for the betterment of the society. I am so inspired by the roles that you pick and even wish to follow in your tracks someday on the big screen.”
