Yeah, we know. This day and age, i-phone applications are popping up around you like unwanted laundry, and eating away at your phone memory like acid. (Cry us a river....) However, this app Hipstamatic (excuse the name) is worthwhile, at least for all you creatives out there.
What is it? The Hipstamatic combines the technology of the iphone interface with the look and feel of plastic toy Instamatic cameras. (In case you weren't around in 1963 or haven't caught onto the retro camera craze, they look like this.) The app lets you mix and match lenses, film and flashes. On your phone.
The outcome? Unpredictable compelling results with a unique feel. Have a look at the below photos taken with the Hipstamatic.

The lenses and film all offer different effects. Challenge: Try each film with each lens and VOILA! You get a delicious unexpected photograph every time! Once you start playing with the Hipstamatic, you can't stop. It's like butter.

Pro: The upload options to Flickr and Facebook are direct and quick. Plus, the images are tagged with the lens/film/flash types so you can easily figure out your favorite combinations. Yes, it is also quite user friendly for the beginning photographer.

Who knew phone photography could be so fun and so perdy? Seriously....
