Check out this SF-based artist: Chris Dorosz
His body of work is literally that: bodies. The 3D sculptures of human interaction called "Stasis", constructed of thin acrylic rods and paint droplets, juxtopose our high-paced technology driven culture.
The point? To infuse a sense of stillness, a feeling of frozen, a mix of motionless...


Does the image on the left below look like a cat? or a suitcase? or a goose? These sculptures play tricks on the imagination...

The paint in Dorosz's work takes on a DNA-esque role. Human's ARE made of cells after all. OR in a more modern sense, the paint droplets represent digital pixels.
