Burning Man: For Those of You Who Aren't Desert Raiding Right Now

The infamous week-long marathon art and music festival, Burning Man, in Nevada's Black Rock Desert (aptly titled Black Rock City), kicked off its 2010 season yesterday, August 30th, 2010. For those of you unfamiliar the ultra-art-rave otherwise known as Burning Man, here's some descriptors to dwell on:
It is: a carnival of lights.
It is: a vast stretch of grandiose sculptures and art pieces
It has: serious, blinding dust storms.
It is: thousands of people (upwards of 40k) chillin' in the desert
It is: a moment for practicing self reflection + expression
It is: color and costume, smiles, laughter, creativity under sunshine, performance art to the maximum, a little hippie, a lot of love (ok maybe a lot of hippie and a lot of love?)
