If you asked us, in a general manner, whether or not we thought it was a good idea to record a song so that sounded like the bass was turned up so loud it was distorting everything else, we'd say, "well, no, that's probably not a good idea."
We'd also say, if you asked us, that making your vocalist sound like she was singing in the bathroom, or, y'know, a cave or something, that that would probably be a no-no too.
As for making a video in a graveyard for a song to be released at the peak of summer? Forget about it!
Well, shows what we know, because Canadian electro duo Crystal Castles just did all of the above on "Celestica" and it's a feast for the eyes and ears:
Breath-taking in a truly unexpected way, no?
"Celestica" is taken from Alice Glass and Ethan Kath's second album Crystal Castles II (out now through Universal/Motown).

Catch them on their August US tour.
