David Wright Has a Situation

When David Wright battled back from a head injury last season, he took some jabs at him for being a little too prepared.

He ended up having a -- by his standards -- subpar season in '09.

Well, it seems he went above and beyond again, taking the offseason to train with The Situation, of Jersey Shore fame... And picking up some of the other Jersey Shore trappings: GTL, baby. If you don't know what that stands for, you better call somebody.

Seems the ramped up off-season regiment has done David Wright some good. In his first at-bat of the season? Home run.

Since then, however, it's been tough going for Wright and his mates. Seems the Jersey Shore's doing their part to help out. Now if only his teammates can do theirs... Am I right, Mets fans?
