Devilish Design: Human Furniture

We've been noticing a salacious yet creepy furniture trend lately. Ever lonesome in your home? These days, there's a stream of furniture designed to match the nude human form so you will always feel in the company of (ne-ked) people. These designs mostly ashew subtlety or modesty; most look like straight-up wax models or direct plaster replicas of limbs - except they are inventively carved into chairs or coat hooks of hands, Adam's family style.
Guess these human figures are more practical than Grecian statues at least?

Slightly funny on first glance, severely disturbing from that point forth, we are 65% sure this is a rather tactless joke rather than some sick fetish piece.
Regardless, we don't recommend trying this one at home folks, unless your first name rhymes with "Hannibal."
In this generation where we are becoming more and more computerized and digitized, necessitating less and less human interaction, is this design trend a sign of our times ? Or is it just a weird fad? Let us know your thoughts!
