In this week's design post, we've decided to focus on items that humorously brighten one's abode and/or body. After all, as a wiseman once said, the ultimate testament to good design is if it provokes laughter.

Bored with your home sweet home? No worries. You can spend the better part of the day "playing Tetris" by rearranging the segments on this Tetris Couch designed by Stefano Grasselli. (via Waylou)

What every woman needs in her closet? How about a "Little Black Dresser" designed by Vancouver based artist Judson Beaumont. (via Beautifullife)

Yes, yes, the world knows. It's time for FIFA's World Cup in South Africa, which means fans all around the world are grabbing their face paints, oversized sponge fingers and those pencil-shaped balloons that mimic thunderous applause when whacked together (Do they have a name?) As for the Dutch Football Federation? They've designed the ultimate do-rag. Hell yeah. (Via The Cool Hunter.)

“ ok guess it wouldn't hurt to play tetris with the furniture. If my theme was pacman would that mean that I would have glow in the dark ghosts that move around the room and a big oval shaped yellow chair with pac man's mouth open and you sit in the mouth? The dots of course are the pieces you sit next to one another aorund the room and make couches and tables :) ”
