Effortless Awesomeness with The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart

You know those people who are just effortlessly gorgeous? Those rare souls that can just roll out of bed in the morning, throw on the nearest pair of raggedy old jeans and a crumpled t-shirt and instantly look like a Nylon fashion shoot?
The up-and-coming indie rock band The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart are the aural equivalent of that (though their name may be a bit less delicate and subtle.)
And just in case the easy-going beauty of their compelling, jangly indie sounds weren’t striking enough, they’ve gone and made a super-cute video out of nothing but a sofa, some books, a bed, a skeleton and their sweet little faces. It's for “Young Adult Friction” taken from their self-titled debut album (out now through Slumberland Records). Observe the lovely simplicity:
The New York quartet will be touring across the US into early October, before heading to Europe this winter. We highly recommend checking them out if you’re looking for a night of warm, fuzzy feelings, delicious melodies and some pretty damn perfect hair.
