Here's a UK-based fashion line that may giveTopshop a 'lil run for their money.
After all when Topshop opened in NYC a couple months back, they brandished tritons of the irresistibly cool: they brought out DJs like The Rapture and Mark Ronson who turned the store into ad-hoc day dance rave, as the line of teething fashionistas extended for blocks on end and a lithe Kate Moss blew kisses from inside.
But Motel Rocks is another UK-based fashion brand (based out of Bristol) that is churning out affordable sexy 'lil things- specifically for girls who like to rock out...
While the name "Motel Rocks" might evoke a couple raw images of concert-touring booty calls (for those of you with dirty minds), the brand carves out the summer treats for girls who like to be feminine while sporting leather boots, red lipstick, and the occasional guitar callus on their palms....
It's got stealth sex appeal that allures the boys and the men...
As well as practical pieces comfortable enough for girls to groove till daylight - without suffering any unfortunate....wardrobe malfunctions.....
Plus, they've also got a bangin' Myspace.
(Um, it kinda reminds us of that one chorus in Daisy Tripping's "I Got A Girl"...Yeah, we know...We're bringing back 90s rock analogies. What are you gonna do about it..?)
