Flying Lotus: Single-Handedly Making Hallucinogens Obsolete

You know that old footage from the early '70s you see, where piles of half naked people are rolling around in mud and reaching out for invisible objects, all while wearing frighteningly blissed out expressions on their usually-painted faces?
Well, get comfortable, because in the next four minutes, it's not entirely unlikely that you'll be reduced to a similar state, thanks to the warped imagination of Flying Lotus and his utterly perplexing yet rather ingenius video for "Mmmhmm". It's like a 1960's episode of Star Trek, written by Bjork, directed by the guy who did the "Can You Feel It" video for the Jackson 5, and starring everyone who's ever been in a dream we've woken up in a cold sweat from.

"Mmmhmm" is taken from Flying Lotus' much-hyped third album Cosmogramma (available now through Warp Records and featuring fellow mind-expander Radiohead's Thom Yorke - who has been a very vocal supporter of this one-man-trip-machine).
