In the middle of Downtown LA's Chinatown, at the POVevolving Gallery on Chung King Road, 60 recycling bins and mini-bins were displayed for one night only before they took off to Coachella. The pop-up exhibit, titled Trashed @ Coachella, is part of Global Inheritance's TRASHed :: Art Of Recycling campaign, which consists of an ongoing recycling education program to redefine the way people view recycling and trash collection... by adding art in the mix.
After all, you know Coachella puts a huge emphasis on Eco-friendly living :)
