Going In And Out Of Control With The Raveonettes

You've got to admire a band that doesn't mince words. Take, for example, The Raveonettes, whose upcoming album In And Out Of Control (out October 6th on Vice Records) contains a song titled "Boys Who Rape (Should All Be Destroyed)". No kidding.
And that's before we even get to "Bang!", "Suicide" and "D.R.U.G.S." All of this is a tad surprising when the Danish duo have remained steadfastly low key as they've built up their sterling reputation over the years.
Last year, the Sound Of Color project commissioned five artists to write songs that represented different colors - The Raveonettes' effort, "Black/ White", was all sultry sass, howling guitars and sensual grooves. Check out the stunning, dark fairytale dreamscape of the video here:
Those swans make us happy. And, judging from what we've heard of it so far, so will In And Out Of Control. Handy then, that Sune and Sharin will be on tour across the US from October 2nd (today!)
