Some days you just want to take a mental break and let your eyes relax and brain wonder. Except usually you would head to a window for such daydreaming. Rather, here are a couple of auto-hypnotic video snippets that will allow your eyes to dance and your brain to catnap.

Makes a Monday that much more digestible....

So simple: A couple mirrors + a couple of mice and ducks = Animal Farm kaleidoscope.

The two below are by German fire-starter video artist Oliver Laric (a 20-something video art ingenue who is part of the VVwork collective)

Squint to see the figures and words better...especially if you like boxing. (PS Oliver makes both the music and the videos).

This one is equally mesmerizing. Basically he carved out each of these picts of a guy dancing in Photoshop, and then lined them all together to flow backwards....Very low-tech and time consuming but the effect is like human dominos...

This cartoon feels like you on one of life's escalators....

Lemon Jelly - Spacewalk

PS word on the street is the lyrics are in fact a remixed radio transcript of a spacewalk that Alan Bean (the fourth man on the moon) took during his Skylab 3 mission!
