Interview With Marina and the Diamonds on Her Album The Family Jewels and More

A while back, we mentioned that we've had Marina and The Diamonds' tracks stuck in our head for a while now, ever since her single Hollywood shocked us due to her honest yet wry critique of the Hollywood dream - disguised by a perky pop beat. Therefore, when she came to the West Coast, we made sure to schedule a sit down interview with the quirky, introspective British singer Marina Diamandis of Marina and The Diamonds to unlock some of the mysteries surrounding the rising chanteuse in terms of her inspiration, her background, what feeds her music...etc... As expected, she surprised us - not just by her bright orange lipstick - but with her candid answers (i.e. she used to be afraid to sing in public?!?)
