Alongside other A-list celebrities including Bill Murray, Andy Garcia, and Ray Romano, Justin played in the 2009 AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am last week. The high-profile annual tournament pairs top PGA Tour professionals with celebrities, world-renowned musicians, professional athletes, and established businessmen to compete for a $6.1 million purse. Each year, all net proceeds from the tournament are donated to hundreds of non-profit, charitable organizations; over $7 million was raised in 2008.
Paired with pro Fred Couples (Justin calls him Freddy), Justin played three rounds of the tournament before just missing the cut-off to make it to the final round. Check out some of JT’s best shots as well as a quick interview:
Two teams ended up tying for the win: Joe Rice and Dustin Johnson and Ron Christman and Chris Stroud.
Justin’s dad Paul Harless, who introduced golf to Justin at an early age down in Memphis, watched from the gallery alongside Justin’s mom, Lynn Harless. Sporting his customary Callaway gear and sharing lots of laughs with other players, Justin enjoyed another great golf tournament and is now heading back to LA.
