Woohoow! It has been announced that Justin won an Emmy for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series.
While the standard prime-time Emmy telecast isn't until next weekend, they just announced the winners of the Creative Arts Awards, and Justin is one of the lucky winners! Justin was awarded for Outstanding Guest Actor In a Comedy Series for his (hilarious) "Mother Lover" and other comedic skits on this year's SNL.
Impressively, he is the first host of SNL history to win an Emmy!
Meanwhile, Justin is up for two more awards next Sunday - for his songwriting on "Motherlover" that he wrote for SNL – and the anthemic "I Love Sports" that he wrote for the 2008 Espy Awards. Justin also has one Emmy for his work on the song, "D&ck In A Box" in 2007....Let's cross our fingers that his winning streak continues!
Big Congrats!
