What's the latest (and hottest) on fashion in LA, you ask? It couldn't get better than this! LA designers behind emerging fashion lines GAS'D, LOVE BASICS, and Shape of Light Studio congregated on Saturday night for a furiously fabulous urban event in Little Tokyo at the new Hold Up Art Gallery. The premise of the evening? Fashion is Art. Art is Love. Love is real.
We couldn't agree more.
Here are some pics:

Models, designers, photographers and style afficionados co-mingled (yes, the event was abundant with creativity) and got their dance-on to a sweet line-up of DJs. The mood? Dope, funky old-school beats! That lady DJ Phamous (left) is a star.

Throughout the night, a live lookbook was produced, demonstrating the marriage between fashion and art. We're seeing designers taking this approach a lot lately and we're loving the concept: it makes fashion so much more accessible.

BELOW: AFTA-1 & Nikko Gray are troupers, also rocking GAS'D and Blake Anthony Hardy designs.

BELOW: We bumped into jewelry designer & model Blake Anthony Hardy and interrupted a delightful bbq truck moment to snap a few shots. On this pic, he is wearing two necklaces from his own collection and a sweater by GAS'D.

Remember our previous post about Downtown LA's Bohemian Society?
Well here is Victor Wilde again, rocking a cool tiger jacket. Impossible to miss this guy in a crowd.

“ Mr Bohemian Society keeps being firmly discernible :) Bobby Ross' *Ninja meets preppy* definition is a special fun moment ;) ....Olivia Lopez, Blake Anthony Hardy and all other guys are fine too. In general, a strongly full yet very focused article. Thanks. ”
