And no photoshop either. Li Wei is a Beijing-based artist known for creating crazy photographs without the help of a computer (which is a great feat in the age of airbushing and clone stamping.) He's does some pretty wicked exhbitions (check out his latest one: the Mirror Maze) but is getting global attention for his gravity-defying photography. (You might have seen his recent work for design magazine Wallpaper* or some of his installations in NYC galleries.) These slightly terrifying but freakishly cool shots were staged using the magic of wires, mirrors, acrobatics and scaffolding. Sounds like a lot of work, but look at how these photos turned out; they're defying gravity! Bit of a warning though: staring at them for too long might give you a headache. Experience a bit of vertigo below:

“ The girl with balloons - she really looks like hey-I-used-to-do-it-pretty-often-when-I-was-a-baby %)......as if that's the part of her daily routine))))) A Head-on Collision is very music-video thing. And the last one - I guess Crash and Eddie would love it....:) ”
