Dear Major Lazer,
Just so you know, we adore you. People keep telling us you're an animated Jamaican commando who lost an arm during a secret 1984 zombie war, but our guts tell us you're really super-rad DJs, Diplo and Switch. Either way, we've been impressed for a while now.
We're just getting in touch to say how much we love the new video for "Keep It Goin' Louder" you just did with Ricky Blaze and Nina Sky. Not since Aphex Twin's absurd, yet nightmarish "Windowlicker" video have we been so terrified of women in bikinis. The egg-heads with fish faces and fright wigs in skimpy outfits might well give us nightmares for the next week, but we don't really mind when you're providing us with jams this kickin':
Also, please pass on our regards to Natalie and Nicole from Nina Sky. We looked up the word "dope" in the dictionary earlier and it just had a picture of them next to it, along with the video for "On Some Bulls**t". We sure do like those ladies.
We can't believe that Ricky Blaze is currently unsigned either, but we doubt that'll last for long. As he himself once noted, the sky's the limit.
Finally, thanks, Major Lazer, for this year's Guns Don't Kill People... Lazers Do album (that came out through Downtown Records).

It was one of our favorites this year and we can't wait to see you in 2010.
Party hard,
Lots of love,
JT.com x

“Your voice sounds so sexy in this absolutely fresh song!”

“I guess this is the kinda song you love your virginity to :-)”
- SumitaNever Again
“I really like you doing pure pop music like this song, but the problem with it is that it encourages the white culture and wants it to be exclusive to you and Britney, etc. etc. You stayed away from that sin in your second solo album and it is easier for someone like me to look at you as an artist and a friend now. I am just saying that I want pop culture to be inclusive and you have done a lot towards that end.”

“That's cool. I was watching your three movies, "Alpha Dog," "Southerland Tales," "Black Snake Moan" nonstop last night and tonight and I can't learn enough from your sensitivity to the lower class. I have a lot to learn from you as someone that uses his gifts for the betterment of the society. I am so inspired by the roles that you pick and even wish to follow in your tracks someday on the big screen.”
