New Music: Remixes Of Jay-Z and Others by WallPaper

You may not know the funky fresh man, Ricky Reed (real name: Eric Frederic), the brain behind the funkified R&B-pop outfit Wallpaper yet. After all, when not touring, we hear he mostly haunts the clubzones of San Francisco. But it doesn't really matter. All you really need to know is that Wallpaper is giving away a generous, delectable pop-laden assortment of remixes - mashing up indie pop princes Passion Pit, with Brooklyn comedic rap-pop experimenters Boy Crisis (Sample: their track is called "Combination Pizza hut and Taco Bell"), and Jay-Z tracks - all of which are worthy of repeat play at your next dance party. (Note: We assume he got the rights to remix all of these tracks. Don't let us down, Mr. Reed!)
What's the occasion? Wallpaper's celebrating his new album, obnoxiously called Doodoo Face, (we josh you not)....Then again, maybe he's just feeling generous in the new Year?
The one lil snag? You gotta drop your email on the web page to get the download- which signs you up for his newsletter, which is not so bad to get a handful of free tracks during the recession, right?
