If you happen to be a fan of Gossip Girl, then you'll remember that episode where TI's song "Whatever You Like" came on...except that it had the silky, sexy vocals of singer Anya Marina. Nice unexpected twist or a disgrace to the original? You know what that means...ORIGINAL VS COVER SMACKDOWN!

RULES: Here are a couple of new spins that have been stuck on repeat, but we need you to decide the better song. Click on the artist name for the originals, watch the covers here:

The Kings of Leon's Knocked Up mashed up with Lykke Li

Kings of Leon is a Justin favorite. But the melancholic song has been Lykke-fied with her smoky vocals and synths for one catchy collab.

TI's Whatever You Like covered by Anya Marina

Listening to it the first time you probably wouldn't have been able to place TI's original, huh?

Florence and The Machine's You've Got The Love covered by the XX

Indie reworking fellow indie- and it's surprisingly good. The XX is already getting major props for their self-titled album, but this new track gives us a taste of their remixing as well.

So who is the victor: the original or the cover? You be the judge.

“On the same tip as the TI cover Pink Nasty's cover of Usher's Burn (steaming at: http://www.myspace.com/therealpinknasty) is a really excellent re-styling of a r&b song.”

“ hugs. ”

“many people have sing cover songs for various reasons...I already asked gaga fans regarding this and she s ok with it...I hope this would not create any problem ? It was just for my rehearsal and for fun. ”

Never Again

“I really like you doing pure pop music like this song, but the problem with it is that it encourages the white culture and wants it to be exclusive to you and Britney, etc. etc. You stayed away from that sin in your second solo album and it is easier for someone like me to look at you as an artist and a friend now. I am just saying that I want pop culture to be inclusive and you have done a lot towards that end.”

“That's cool. I was watching your three movies, "Alpha Dog," "Southerland Tales," "Black Snake Moan" nonstop last night and tonight and I can't learn enough from your sensitivity to the lower class. I have a lot to learn from you as someone that uses his gifts for the betterment of the society. I am so inspired by the roles that you pick and even wish to follow in your tracks someday on the big screen.”
