Robyn Shows Us How Her Body Works

Nothing stings the pride more than having the object of your affection overlook you for another. How did you respond last time you got an ego-bashing of that caliber? You'd be forgiven for running away, hiding and having a good ol' cry til you got over it. But Swedish dance sensation, Robyn, has a handy alternative for dealing with such a blow. In the wise words of Lady Gaga, Just Dance:

We wouldn't want to get in Robyn's way on a dancefloor with moves that powerful, we'll tell ya.

Robyn has been a big hit in her native Europe for years now, thanks to her unusual ability for taking songs that should technically be ballads, and making them danceable and ferocious. And we love her for it.

We should be seeing a lot more of her Stateside soon enough too, thanks to her awesome, just-released album Body Talk Pt 1 (out through Cherrytree Records), which includes collaborations with Major Lazer's Diplo and super cool Norwegian electro duo Röyksopp, among others. You can also catch her on tour this July, with the always-fierce Kelis. Body Work Pt 2 is due later this summer and will reportedly include a duet with Snoop Dogg, and there'll be a Pt 3 later this year too.
