Ever wonder what it would be like to walk across America, Forrest Gump-style? Well, one man did it - all the while documenting his trip in a stop-motion video - and the results are pretty damn rad. The wanderluster is named "Mike" (yeah, we're kinda wondering who he is. Mike if you are out there, let us know?? comment below? sweet. ) walks from New York to San Francisco - the jovial tune "Home" by Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros (you know, the crazy gypsy wanderluster musicians who we recently interviewed drawing fantastical portraits of eachother?)
The video gives you a bird's eye perspective into his inspiring journey from the East coast, through the great plains of the Midwest, onto the bright lights of Vegas to his final destination- the beach near the Golden Gate Bridge. Check it out:
FYI: They used 2700+ photographs to complete this flic and they mapped out their journey here.
