Last week, we launched a new segment on JT.com called Style Watch - where we capture the rad trends of people in various cities.
This week's assignment? The fashion-forward peeps in San Francisco. Frisco is known for Twin Peaks, its fog, sour dough bread, Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, dungeness crab, steep hills, and festive costume parades. What you may not know? It's also full of edgy fashion with artsy flair and thrift-store saavy.
First stop? The Mission District of SF. What does the Mission have to offer? Hipsters a plenty, avante-guarde boutiques and thriving taquerias that serve a mean burrito.

Molly Kirwan
Style according to Molly: Farmer girl pin-up (jacket: French Connection, skirt: tulle4us.com, shirt: Target)

Ben Chapman
Style according to Ben: Vintage (hoodie: vintage Carthartt, jeans: vintage Levi's 505, belt buckle: vintage 70s)
Vintage shopping seems to be a popular trend among the youth in San Francisco. Even Levi's (SF is it's home-base) has teamed up with Goodwill with the "Care Tag for Our Planet" campaign which aims to recycle billions of pounds of clothing every year. How cool.

Andrew Supnet
Style according to Andrew: Funky rain (peacoat: G-Star, cartigan: vintage, jeans: skinny Levi's, shoes: vintage Keds)
The next destination? The Haight Ashbury (once home of the Greatful Dead, Janice Joplin and Jimi Hendrix). Is the energy of 1968 still there? Judging from the fashion below, there is less hippy and more mod.

Valerie Santillo
Style according to Valerie: Vintage, usually 30s & 40s inspired (shirt: asos.com, jacket: H&M, belt: Forever 21, shoes: Aldo)

Joel Delia
Style according to Joel: Cold Italian prince (shirt: Ben Sherman, jacket: Goodwill, jeans: Skinny Levi's, boots: Rockport)

Lauren Sobel
Style according to Lauren: Thrift store meets sale meets payday (jeans: Crossroads, boots: Urban NY Exchange, sunglasses: Marc Jacobs)
