Super Bowl Prophecy Fulfilled

This ain't about bragging. This is about pride. And friendship. See, way back in the day, at least before the playoffs started, we picked the Super Bowl matchup here, and waited patiently for the results. Luck be a lady, it has come to pass that the Indianapolis Colts and the New Orleans Saints will duke it out for Super Bowl supremacy. We're proud like big mammas. We're psyched like super fans. It's on!

In the following commercial, Peyton Manning of the Colts and Reggie Bush of the Saints one up each other in a prank war for the very, very rich. Hopefully, the battle on the field will be just as wild, if not competitive.

So, who do we like to win?

PREDICTION: CBS. At an estimated $3.1 million per 30-second commercial, the television home of Super Bowl XLIV is taking advantage of the massive guaranteed audience that an event of this magnitude can deliver. Let's put it this way: don't expect to see any Snuggy ads during this game.

In all seriousness, we can't see Peyton Manning losing this game. (And keep in mind, we aren't biased at all.) He's played possessed all year, winning his unprecedented 4th MVP award, and doing pretty much everything needed to win, whenever his team needed. He shredded the #1 ranked defense to pieces on Sunday, and now turns his sights on a vulnerable Saints defense. The Indianapolis Colts win big.

Mark your calendars: February 7th, from Miami, FL, it's Super Bowl XLIV. And what would Super Bowl buildup be without the Super Bowl Shuffle:

(BTW: Did we mention we correctly predicted the World Series too? We're seriously considering selling our picks... Like this guy.)
