The Noisettes: Ready For Their Close Up

Up and coming (and clearly forward-thinking) London trio The Noisettes haven't just dealt with the camera phone phenomenon, they've embraced it! Their latest video, "Saturday Night", is comprised entirely of camera phone footage, filmed by a hundred fans on handheld Nokia devices.
It's just the sort of creativity we'd expect from a band who toured Europe with Lady Gaga last summer, but the results are still surprisingly stunning. Sure, vocalist/ bassist Shingai Shoniwa could make a sack of potatoes look stylish, but still - this is rad. See for yourselves:
PS "Saturday Night" is taken from the band's superb second album, Wild Young Hearts (out now through Mercury Records). Keep your eyes (and camera phones) on them in 2010 - we're expecting big things.
