Gosh, early morning showers can be just The. Worst. There you are, trying to brace yourself for the day. You're still in slow motion. You can't check the bags under your eyes because the mirror's all steamed up, and when you finally do make it out of the bathroom, wouldn't you know it? There's a team of gold women hula-hooping, twirling umbrellas and skateboarding in your hallway. Typical.
Ahem.
At least that's how it is in the world of Baltimore duo Beach House, who were thoughtful enough to capture this hypnotic scenario (or something like it) for us in wondrous, slow motion video form to accompany "Silver Soul". The results are nothing short of mesmerizing:
"Silver Soul" is taken from Victoria Legrand and Alex Scally's third album, Teen Dream (which was released as a CD/ DVD package on January 26, through Sub Pop) and it's some of the most soothing and ethereal musical magic we've ever heard.
Beach House are set to tour the US throughout March and April (after they've played pretty much every town in the entirety of Europe). Make a note in your journal and stock up on gold lame catsuits now because this is bound to be special.

“I absolutely love Esmee. I think that she has the potential to the next 'Britney Spears." All she has to do is to work on her dance moves, and she will be the queen of pop someday soon. I also like Matt Morris and admire his personal life.”
