Vevo Launches With Interviews with Beyonce And Lady Gaga; Justin Attends Launch Party

The new music video site Vevo, which we filled you in on in detail last week, has been officially launched. First impressions? It proved last night that it sure knows how to party by kicking off with an unveiling event in NYC that Justin himself attended. Also in the house? Bono, Mariah Carey, John Mayer, Taylor Swift, Ciara, and Rihanna...you name it, they were there. Oh and Lady Gaga performed:
Damn. Now as for the site itself? Below is a first peak at Vevo....
The first thing we noticed........is how much it looks like Hulu....
Vevo above meet Hulu below. Coincidence? Considering the success of Vevo on the internets, we think not...
But then we listened to an intro by Kid Cudi....

And decided, seen as EMI just announced it has partnered with Vevo, along with Sony BMG and Universal, we'd say the future should be bright for Vevo. While it's not yet jam-packed with behind-the-scenes footage and exclusive interviews....with its connections with the music industry, it should be brimming (hell, it better be brimming) in no time.
