Yeasayer Team Up With Kristen Bell For New Video

Anyone who's ever watched Marley & Me can attest to the fact that on-screen depictions of pet loss can be heartbreaking to say the least (see also: I Am Legend, Old Yeller, Turner & Hooch and The Neverending Story - eugh... still hurts.) All of those animals had one factor in common though - they were all really darned cute.
You'd think that watching a one-armed, one-eyed, pus-ridden squidge monster buy the farm would be a bit less painful, wouldn't you? Well, not when it's accompanied by showers of tears pouring from the always adorable face of Kristen Bell, and soundtracked by a dreamy, angst-ridden Yeasayer song, it isn't.
Get your tissues out for the Brooklyn indie band's new one, "Madder Red":
So sad... If the band weren't doing some US dates in September and October to cheer us up, we might just cry for days...
