Cry Me A River Video
“Cry Me a River” earned Justin a 2004 Grammy Award for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance. The lyrics speak of an alleged infidelity.
The video features Justin playing a character who gets back at a cheating girlfriend, played by Lauren Hastings. It was shot in a panoramic Hollywood home where Justin appears to be haunting her.
Directed by Francis Lawrence, the highly stylized video had caught the attention of The Music Video Production Association (MVPA), naming "Cry Me a River" as Best Pop and Best Male Video for 2003.
