JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE: VIDEOS

William Rast Fall/Winter 2009, Part 1

To create the Fall/Winter 2009 collection, business partners Justin Timberlake and Trace Ayala enlisted the help of designers Johan and Marcella Linderberg. The two deconstructed and distressed American classics like denim, leather and plaid to bring their vision of "New America" to life.

Citing Biker Culture and the Ratpack as their influences, Johan and Marcella Linderberg used a muted color scheme balanced with heavy detailing like riveting and studding. Mixing different materials like silk and leather brought a customized feel to their pieces. The entire collection has a devil-may-care attitude, much like the character of William Rast.

Justin said that putting their Fashion Week debut together was time-consuming but totally worth it. “Showing in the tents was almost indescribable in a way, nerve-racking and fulfilling at the same time." he admitted.
